Many of our treks are in the stunning Markha Valley. The Markha river has created a green paradise of barley and mustard fields, its deep gorges meandering through unspoiled and isolated villages which are unreachable for a large part of the year due to snowfall.
This area has many unclimbed peaks which can be viewed spectacularly from the high passes the trekking route follow, for example, from Kongmaru La Pass at 5200 m, you will be rewarded with an extensive view, north to Karakuram where K2 lies , and easterly towards Tibet and Kailash region .
The Markha Valley wildlife is prolific with snow leopard , blue sheep and marmot are common sight amongst the rocks and ridges.
